A:M Volleyball bridges the gap between social and competitive play. Structured sessions, elite camps, and a growing community across the North of England.
A:M Volleyball is a community-driven coaching organisation operating across Manchester and Newcastle. Founded and led by Alex Monk, the mission is simple: bridge the gap between social and competitive volleyball.
"I want to foster a community that helps players bridge the gap between being a social player to being one that can compete competitively."
Alex has built A:M Volleyball from the ground up into one of the North of England's fastest-growing volleyball communities. His game-based approach focuses on technique, fast play, and strong fundamentals, the same principles he applies coaching at the competitive level.
A:M Volleyball is built around experienced coaches who genuinely care about your development. Every session is led by someone who has competed and coached at a high level.
Harvey leads our Newcastle Friday sessions and brings Super League and National Level coaching experience to every session. His focus is on elevating the competitive ceiling for players ready to push their game.

Six months with A:M Volleyball produces a measurable difference. Here's what players consistently walk away with.
A clear, noticeable increase in ball control, serving, setting, passing, and hitting, built through structured, purposeful reps.
Greater game sense, smarter positioning, and an understanding of how to read and respond to play. Areas most coaches skip over.
Improvements directly relevant to joining a team during the season. A:M prepares you for real, competitive volleyball.
Specific attention on the areas other coaches don't address. The gaps that hold most players back from levelling up.
"A player who has come to A:M can expect a greater tactical understanding of the sport : positioning, game sense, and specific focus on areas other coaches don't build on."
